HOBOKEN, N.J. — The fatal accident involving an NJ Transit train at Hoboken on Thursday brought new attention to the lack of an automated speed control system on the tracks. Federal investigators are looking at the lack of positive train control as a possible factor in Thursday’s NJ Transit crash.
