WASHINGTON, D.C. — According to the Journal of Commerce, House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman John Mica, R.-Fla., has indicated that House Republicans are unlikely to adopt the Senate’s two-year transportation spending plan. Instead, they will likely consider a short-term extension of the surface transportation bill.
