TOWN OF LEBANON, Wisc. — Limited visibility during Sunday’s snowstorm was apparently to blame as a Dodge County woman mistook the nearby railroad tracks for her driveway.

A passing motorist alerted the Dodge County dispatch center around 8 p.m. that a minivan was driving down the Union Pacific railroad tracks just off County Trunk R and Ivy Road.

The driver of the vehicle, a 38-year-old Lebanon woman told police that she had mistaken the tracks for her nearby driveway.

The vehicle, which had become hung up on the rails, had to be pulled off by another vehicle.
