CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Two major infrastructure investment firms, Global Infrastructure Partners and the Blackstone Group’s infrastructure segment, are mulling over whether to attempt to acquire U.S. Class I railroad Kansas City Southern, according to an article in the Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
