ATTICA, N.Y. — Norfolk Southern continued to make progress Friday on cleanup and recovery from a Thursday afternoon train derailment that left an engineer and conductor with unspecified, non-life-threatening injuries and a locomotive up in flames, forcing the closure of several main roads out of the rural town.
