NEW YORK — U.S. rail traffic for the week ending June 19, 2021, came in at 514,112 carloads and intermodal units, rising 12.5% from the same point last year, the Association of American Railroads reported on June 23. That represents 232,144 carloads (up 15.1% vs. 2020) and 281,968 intermodal containers and trailers (up 10.4% vs. 2020).
