Congratulations to retired BLET member Jim Keele and his wife Debbie, who are celebrating three milestone anniversaries this year: Brother Jim is a 50-year member of the Brotherhood, Debbie is a 50-year member of BLET Auxiliary/GIA, and the couple has been married for 51 years. Brother Jim and Sister Debbie each proudly wore their 50-year membership pins while attending the BLET’s Western Regional Meeting in Kansas City on June 4.
Brother Jim served the BLET for many years as an officer of Division 336 (Osawatomie, Kansas) and for 21 years as Chairman of the BLET Kansas State Legislative Board (1991-2012). Sister Debbie served as an officer of Local GIA/Auxiliary 235 (Helen Gould Division) and as Alternate Secretary at the GIA’s national level. Both held leadership roles with the BLET’s former Southwestern Convention Meeting.
