KANSAS CITY — Kansas City Southern has elected Paul J. Weyandt as senior vice president finance and treasurer.
Weyandt joined Kansas City Southern in 2001 as vice president and treasurer.
In addition to providing oversight of the company’s treasury, insurance, taxes, credit and collections functions, Weyandt is serving as interim chief financial officer of TFM, S.A. de C.V. until a permanent chief financial officer is selected for the Mexican operation later this year.
Prior to joining Kansas City Southern Weyandt was a consultant to the Structured Finance Group of GE Capital Corp. and spent 23 years with BNSF Railway and its predecessor The Burlington Northern Railway Co.
