KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The KCS Holiday Express fundraising campaign closed on October 29th. As of this publication of the KCS News, the campaign generated $107,668 to purchase Wal-Mart gift cards, which were donated to the Salvation Army to provide warm clothing for children in need. Since 2001 KCSR has raised $1,180,220. The United Way fundraising campaign closed on October 15th. Throughout this effort KCSR raised $146,392 (including the corporate match of $45,000).
