MONTREAL — Transport Canada has ruled more repairs are needed before rail traffic can resume through the town of Lac-Mégantic. The federal body conducted an inspection on the line on Thursday. A July 6 derailment and subsequent explosion in the town killed 47 people. On Sunday, Transport Canada concluded the track is still not safe for trains to pass on the line that runs between Lennoxville and Lac-Mégantic.
