MONTREAL — MONTREAL — To a town that experienced a shocking event a month ago, Montreal, Maine & Atlantic’s filing for protection from their creditors was anything but. Nicolas Carette, a spokesperson for Lac-Mégantic, said the city has been making plans for the possibility that the company will fold.
