CLEVELAND, January 4 — Registration for the upcoming BLET Legislative Representative workshop in Washington, D.C., is now closed. The class is limited to a maximum of 24 members, and all slots have been filled.
The workshop is being presented by the BLET Education & Training Department in conjunction with the National Legislative Office and the National Association of State Legislative Board Chairmen (NASLBC). It will be held at Teamster Headquarters in Washington, D.C., from March 9-14, 2008.
Due to the overwhelming response from the membership, the Education & Training Department will schedule another Legislative Representative workshop in the near future. The dates and location are yet to be determined, but members may begin to register for the future workshop at the BLET website, https://www.ble-t.org/lr.
Those who sign up for the future LR workshop will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
