CLEVELAND, February 6 — The workshop for BLET Legislative Representatives is full, but a waiting list has been established for those who are still interested in attending. The workshop will be in Washington, D.C., from March 1-7, 2009.
The BLET Education & Training Department will conduct the workshop in conjunction with the BLET National Legislative Office and the BLET National Association of State Legislative Board Chairmen (NASLBC).
Those who sign up on the waiting list will be given the opportunity to attend the workshop if someone should drop out.
The workshop will take place at Teamster headquarters in Washington, D.C., with classroom training beginning the evening of Sunday, March 1. All-day classroom training will follow on March 2, 3 and 4. After completion of the classroom training, attendees will participate in a full day of lobbying on March 5 and a half-day on March 6. The afternoon of March 6 is scheduled for travel home.

After registering for the workshop, workshop attendees will receive an e-mail confirmation that will include hotel registration information. Attendees are responsible for their transportation costs, along with the cost of room and board.
