LOS ANGELES — A downtown Los Angeles track where rail cars derailed over the weekend has been repaired and is now reopened, a Union Pacific spokeswoman said Tuesday evening, Jan. 18. Seventeen train cars derailed at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at the intersection of San Pablo Street and Valley Boulevard. There were no injuries and the cause of the derailment remains under investigation.
