CHICAGO — A worker died after being found bleeding at a rail yard on Chicago’s Southwest Side Wednesday, authorities said. According to Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford, first responders were called to the scene around 1 p.m. at the CSX intermodal facility in the 2100 block of West 59th Street. There, they found a man in a pool of blood, he said. Langford said the man may have been operating a “tug,” or a machine that moves containers between a semi and a train. It appears the man was run over by the wheels of the machine, he said.
