TOLEDO, Ohio — According to the Toledo Blade, a Toledo man died yesterday after the pickup in which he was riding struck a railroad warning signal on East Broadway in Lake Township, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
Donald Adams, 62, of 915 Willow Ave. died at 12:40 p.m. in Medical College Hospitals.
Mr. Adams was a passenger in the pickup, which was southbound on East Broadway at 10:29 p.m. It was driven by his son, Timothy Adams, 29, of Toledo, when it went off the roadway at a railroad grade crossing near Keller Road and hit a railroad warning signal.
Troopers said Donald Adams had a history of heart problems.
