WASHINGTON — MARC riders who usually board Brunswick line trains will have to find another way to work this morning.

Severe thunderstorms last night knocked down trees on the tracks and MARC officials said it is canceling service on the Brunswick Line.

MARC officials said some Brunswick Line trains are being used on the Penn Line, so they’ve had to cut back on service due to lack of equipment.

CSX crews are still removing debris, mainly in the Germantown area and officials said they hope to have service restored sometime during rush hour.

Metrorail is honoring tickets on the Red Line and MARC officials said there will be limited service on the Brunswick Line this afternoon.
