WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Mediation Board’s Chief of Staff Daniel Rainey is pleased to announce that, effective immediately, Mediator Jane Allen will assume the position of NMB Ombudsman, a role she will share with Senior NMB Mediator Terri Brown.
Allen joined the National Mediation Board as a mediator in June, 2015 with 22 years of experience in the airline industry. She also practiced law for 5 years in a private firm. Ms. Allen worked at two major U.S. carriers and her experience includes being the Vice President of Labor/Chief Labor Negotiator, the Senior Vice President of Onboard Services and Operations, and the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, including labor.
Ms. Allen holds a JD from Vanderbilt University’s School of Law and a BA in Communications from The Ohio State University.
