NEWARK, N.J. — The vice president of a national transportation consulting company is expected to be nominated to head NJ Transit by Gov. Phil Murphy to fix the agency Murphy has called a “national disgrace,” NJ Advance Media has learned. Murphy is set to nominate Kevin Corbett as NJ Transit’s next executive director, possibly as early as this week, several transportation sources said.
