CLEVELAND, July 23 — With the BLET’s Eastern Union Meeting Association (EUMA) quickly approaching, members are reminded to make hotel reservations as soon as possible. The 69th annual EUMA is taking place August 20-24 in Traverse City, Mich.
A block of rooms has been reserved for the BLET and its guests at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, but rooms are only guaranteed through Friday, July 27. After that date, the BLET is no longer able to hold rooms and reservations will be on a first come, first served basis.
Arrangements Chairman Don Zatteau and the members of BLET Division 286 are planning a fun-filled, family friendly EUMA that also includes valuable education and training opportunities for BLET members.
“We are still accepting registration as well,” Brother Zatteau said. “The more the merrier.”
Members must mention “EUMA 2007” when making reservations at the Grand Traverse Resort. Reservations can be made by calling (800) 748-0303.
Members will have various room options to choose from, including: Hotel guestroom, $149; Tower guestroom, $179; Studio condo, $149; One bedroom condo, $189; Two bedroom condo, $229; or three bedroom condo, $269. The resort’s website is: www.grandtraverseresort.com.
