STAPLES, Minn. — Authorities have arrested four people after finding four pounds of methamphetamine at an Amtrak station in Staples, Minn.
A 25-year-old man from Clackamus, Ore., was arrested along with a 29-year-old woman from Baxter, Minn. and two Brainerd residents, ages 28 and 30.
The meth has an estimated street value of $65,000.
The suspects from Oregon and Baxter are expected to be arraigned in federal court on charges of conspiracy to distribute meth.
The Brainerd suspects are being held at the Crow Wing County Jail on local charges.
