CHICAGO — With track work starting Thursday on Metra’s Milwaukee District North line, midday riders will be bused between Grayslake and Fox Lake, officials said Tuesday.
Rush-hour service and weekend service will not be affected.
Some midday inbound trains will experience delays of 20 to 25 minutes south of Grayslake, Metra said.
The busing will continue through May 29 and work is scheduled to be completed by month’s end.
