NEW YORK — Friday has been a rough ride for Metro-North commuters — if they were lucky to even catch a train. Metro-North intially decided to run a Saturday schedule today, but larger-than-expected crowds have forced the railroad to scramble to add trains. Eight were added on the New Haven line and two on the Harlem line, a spokesman said. Still, many riders are facing long waits and packed trains.
