NEW YORK — In the wake of major flooding in recent years that washed away track beds along Metro-North Railroad’s rights-of-way on both sides of the Hudson River, the railroad has hired a company to employ high-tech equipment that will conduct a systematic inventory and analysis of the infrastructure.
