NEW YORK — A Metro-North Railroad employee has died after he was struck by a train early Monday. The employee was hit at 12:54 a.m. while working on the tracks at Park Avenue and East 106th Street in Manhattan, Metro-North said in a statement. The employee was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and later pronounced dead. The railroad is withholding his identity while his family is notified.
