BOISE, Idaho — U.S. Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta is scheduled to visit Boise Friday to tour a locomotive factory.
He’s also expected to publicly argue for passage of a highway spending bill. Mineta says delays moving the legislation through Congress are costing American jobs and contracts.
Mineta is expected to tour the MotivePower factory in the morning, including a look at the company’s latest engine.
