OMAHA, Neb. — An armed Missouri man who abruptly stopped an Amtrak train in southwestern Nebraska in October faces additional charges. The United States Attorney’s Office in Nebraska reports a grand jury has charged 25-year-old Taylor Wilson of St. Charles with two counts of attempting to disable a train and attempting to interfere with a locomotive engineer. The first count charges Wilson attempted to wreck an Amtrak train while the train carried passengers and crew. The second count charges Wilson acted with intent to endanger the safety of the Amtrak engineer while the train carried passengers and crew.
