TIMPSON, Texas — Nobody has been hurt in a derailment in East Texas that led to more than three dozen cars jumping the tracks.
Union Pacific is trying to determine what prompted the derailment near Timpson.
Crews worked to clear the tracks after 37 cars derailed. Officials say most of the cars were empty.
The derailment happened yesterday afternoon near Farm-to-Market Road 2667.
Timpson is a community of about one-thousand, located 175 miles southeast of Dallas
