CLEVELAND, December 17 — Miriam Cassidy, the mother of former International Vice-President Joseph Cassidy Jr. and grandmother of BLET New York State Legislative Board Secretary-Treasurer Kelly Cassidy, passed away on December 15, 2004. She was 84 years old.
Mrs. Cassidy’s husband, Joseph Cassidy Sr., was a member of the BLE and worked for the Long Island Railroad for many years.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cassidy will be held on Tuesday, December 21, at 10 a.m., at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Garden City, N.Y. Calling hours are on Monday, December 20, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at:
