HUNTINGTON STATION, Suffolk County — The MTA is rolling out their first new train cars in 17 years on the Long Island Rail Road Wednesday morning. As a result, the LIRR says some of the busiest routes will have longer 10 and 12 car trains. The first of the new M9 cars depart from Huntington Station at 6:50 a.m. bound for Queens.
