LINCOLN, Neb. — The body of 38-year-old railroad worker Jeff Scholl was found late Thursday or early Friday near the bridge that collapsed into the Elkhorn River.

Scholl worked for the Nebraska Central Railroad, which leased the bridge from the Union Pacific.

Seven members of the Lincoln Fire and Rescue specialized water rescue team left Friday to help the Norfolk Fire Department recover of Scholl’s body.
