HOBOKEN, N.J. — NJ Transit service is getting back on track this morning after police activity caused a shutdown in and out of Hoboken.
Spokesman Dan Stessel doesn’t yet know what police were doing. However, he says it caused service to stop on seven lines, including Metro-North’s Port Jervis Line.
Regular NJ Transit rail service in and out of the Hoboken terminal has been restored, as has Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Service.
Stessel said shortly after 6 a.m. that the trains were rolling again.
The light rail is operating except in and out of Hoboken.
