HOBOKEN, N.J. — NJ Transit officials unveiled a memorial on the banks of the Hudson River in honor of the people who took their trains and buses to work on Sept. 11, 2001, and never came home and in recognition of the NJ Transit workers who got people evacuated from Manhattan to their homes that horrific day.
