NEWARK, N.J. — In all but one of the nine months between June 1 and Feb. 28 — the exception being November — NJ Transit fared worse in on-time performance than in the same month the previous year. And last month, the statewide transportation agency had its worst month for train delays in 18 years. That followed a January that had been the worst month for train delays in nine years.
