WASHINGTON — The National Mediation Board has announced it will be holding free training for its Knowledge Store and video conferencing. Spaced for this training is limited.

You will need a computer with internet access to participate

Knowledge Store Training:
The NMB Knowledge Store is a searchable online archive of Arbitration Awards, NMB Representation Determinations, PEB Reports, NMB Annual Reports, Airline and Railroad labor contracts, and Airline and Railroad union constitutions and by-laws. It is accessible from the NMB web site (www.nmb.gov).

You can gain hands-on experience on how to use this database:

1st session
Wednesday, February 8th at 1pm EST

Wednesday, March 8th at 1pm EST
Wednesday, March 22nd at 1pm EST

Video Conferencing Training (WebEx):
The NMB Videoconferencing Center is an Internet-based document development and sharing system that incorporates some video for face-to-face meetings of participants at various geographical locations. It can be used in negotiations, arbitration, grievance mediation, and other venues.

You can gain hands-on experience on how to use this system:
