CLEVELAND, August 15 — A copy of the National Mediation Board’s decision on the Kansas City Southern single-craft issue is available on the NMB’s website.
In it, the NMB denies the United Transportation Union’s attempt to raid the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers through the creation of a single operating craft of “Train and Engine Service Employees.”
The Board also emphasizes the fact that two distinct and separate operating crafts exist on the KCS.
