NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk Southern Corporation has recognized 35 customers for safe handling of hazardous chemicals.
To earn the Thoroughbred Chemical Safety Award, each customer shipped more than 1,000 carloads of hazardous chemicals without incident on Norfolk Southern during 2003. This marks the eighth year NS has given awards to its safest chemical customers.
