TORONTO — Taking advantage of historically low interest rates and strong demand from fixed-income investors, Norfolk Southern today issued $400 million of 100-year notes. The deal was increased from initial talk of $250 million and was priced at a yield of 6.0%, representing a spread of 175 basis points over the 30-year Treasury.
