BISMARCK, N.D. — North Dakota farmers are concerned a backlog in rail shipments will affect the upcoming harvest. With harvest approaching, there are worries over grain storage and delivery. Elevators may not be able to move out last year’s crops in time for the coming year’s harvest due to rail shipment delays. In addition to full cars not being shipped, there are many elevators that need cars to fill.
