PARSIPPANY, N.J. — The hastily written and poorly thought out plan by Congressional Republicans to privatize the Northeast Corridor fails to properly address how it will impact other commuter rail services along the route — such as New Jersey Transit. According to the Daily Record, only one sentence addresses the issue in the entirety of the legislation, and is so vague that it has transportation experts and commuter railroad operators very concerned for their future.
