CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Two cars of a Norfolk Southern freight train, both filled with new Ford F-150 pickup trucks, derailed and overturned Friday night, blocking Portlock Road.

No one was injured, authorities said.

The cause of the derailment was not immediately clear. The railroad was bringing in a crane to right the two toppled cars. It was unclear how soon the crossing at Portlock would be cleared, however.

The train was en route to Roanoke, having just left the Ford Plant in Norfolk.
