NS to settle for $170,000 over Columbus ethanol spill, fire

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Four years ago, a broken rail caused 16 railroad cars to jump the track near Columbus’ Weinland Park neighborhood, igniting a fireball of ethanol on board.
