PITTSBURGH, Pa. — City officials were investigating a train derailment last night above the Corliss Tunnel near Glenmore Avenue.

Lt. Michael Hajduk said at least three tank cars filled with an unidentified chemical derailed in the Norfolk Southern tracks.

None of the residents in the area of the spill had been evacuated by late last night, but police were not allowing anyone in the area.

Route 51 was closed near the Corliss Tunnel.
