Dow has confirmed that it had product, ethylhexyl acrylate, in one railcar on the Norfolk Southern trail that derailed in East Palestine, Ohio. According to the Associated Press, ethylHexyl acrylate is one of five toxic chemicals that were released in East Palestine upon the derailment of the train. The other four are vinyl chloride, butyl acrylate, isobutylene and ethylene glycol.
