COLUMBIA, S.C. — The NTSB on Tuesday put the main cause of the 2018 crash on CSX. They say the company didn’t have a proper safety plan for the signals being down on its track. The lack of a safety plan contributed to a wreck in Cayce, S.C., that killed two Amtrak crew members and injured almost 100 passengers. BLET member and Amtrak locomotive engineer Michael Kempf was killed in the collision.
