WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Transportation Safety Board will hold a meeting to discuss the special investigation report on safety issues identified in five Metro-North accidents that occurred between May 17, 2013 and March 10, 2014. The report examines the common elements that were found in the accidents, and highlights lessons learned and the steps that need to be taken to make commuter rail transportation safer.
