DEPOSIT, N.Y. — At 2:01 am Thursday morning, a train carrying various types of waste, including hazardous materials, derailed east of Binghamton near Hale Eddy Road, on the Delaware River reported the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway. Diesel fuel, up to 4,000 gallons, spilled into the West Branch of the Delaware from at least one of the locomotives.
