GAINESVILLE, N.Y. — Six railroad cars awaited unloading Wednesday near the Norfolk Southern tracks off Route 19A. The project is known formally as the Wyoming Rail Transfer Station. Its history actually stretches back to 2008 as part of the Wyoming County Rail Initiative.
