ALBANY, N.Y. — CSX Transportation, Inc., must pay more than $186,000 to a worker who was illegally fired after he raised safety issues, the U.S. Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced Thursday. CSX was also ordered to remove all references to the firing in the personnel file of the worker, who had lost his job as a track maintenance worker at the Selkirk rail yard in March 2010.
