TOLEDO, Ohio — Two men made off with an undisclosed amount of money early yesterday morning after robbing the Amtrak ticket counter in the train station at knifepoint, according to police.

The incident occurred about 1:30 a.m. at 415 Emerald Ave. when the men approached the counter in the train station and inquired about a reservation to Washington. One of the men then jumped over the counter and pulled out a knife, a police report states.

He demanded money from the employee working the counter and went to a drawer containing money, which the employee opened. The two robbers fled with the cash, the report states.
